This 2009 car started life as the R300 Caterham Cars demonstrator and was featured in Chris Rees' Magnificent 7 book. The car then went through a transformation to become the sister car to R50OCC and was used by Clarkson, Hammond and May at events including Top Gear Live. There is a letter of authenticity from Caterham in the history file. Following the tour, Caterham upgraded the engine to include roller barrel throttle bodies, turning it into a R400 and the car was recently repainted in the correct R500 Top Gear pearlescent white with orange decal pack. A real head turner with plate to match.
